From conception Luna�s Lament have had a morbid array of musicians with influences ranging from TOOL, Opeth, Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains, Godsmack, and more. From the Carolinas, drummer Matt [The Madman) Deese, and female guitarist Kimniption formed the band back in the spring of 2005. Luna�s Lament won an award for BEST HARD ROCK BAND in THE CHARLOTTE MUSIC AWARDS WOMEN IN MUSIC SHOWCASE '08. Competed in THE BODOG BATTLE OF BANDS in 2006. They made it to the finals in ATLANTA GA. And now for the present: In April '09 Luna's Lament lost both their bass player and front man, and went on an indefinite hiatus. Nearly a year later new singer Morgan joined Kim and Matt and started the process of reformation. With the addition of young, but very talented bassist Chandler in early 2010, their lineup is complete! With all original material, this band is a breath of fresh air for the rock and metal genre
