Originally from North Carolina, Geoff "Geoffreaux" White never stayed in one place long, traveling along the Appalachians from the Carolinas to New York, through the farmlands of Wisconsin and into the desert of Arizona before returning to his native state. All along the way he picked up the folk styles of those regions, blending them together to create his style. Emerging onto the Charlotte, NC scene as fiddle player for popular regional acts such as Overmountain Men and Appalucia, Geoffreaux's solo effort displays his talent as both a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Performing songs with an intimate, timeless darkness, Geoffreaux embodies honest contemporary roots music.
