The Dielectrics are a rowdy bunch of rockers from the Port City, Wilmington NC who formed in 2007. With a sound reminiscent of early Ramones, a dash of AC/DC and a pinch of Turbonegro, The Dielectrics wanted to put on a show that would get people shakin in their boots. They deliver an energetic live show that is sure to fill up a dance floor with crowds of sweaty rock lovers. They started pounding at the rock anvil out of the gate releasing their debut E.P. "Turn It UP" in early 2008. Shortly afterward they began filling up their schedule with World Domination in their sights. 2009 was a busy year for the guys with them leaving their footprints up and down the East coast. The Dielectrics have been featured at such events as Heavy Rebel Weekend and The Port City Rumble as well as making self funded trips as far north as Toronto. Their shows have been described as "Good times played out very, very loud, and welcoming".(Eli Marsh music journalist) and what "Bootleg" magazine calls " a raucous party blended with the adrenaline of a high speed chase . Loud with the fury of a knock-down drag-out brawl, leaving ears ringing and rafters loosened."
